Proof of Impact
Somewhere in the cloud, there is an odd photo album of my life.
My dog sitting on the front porch instead of the package.
A random office door.
And now ... me standing in the street holding my DoorDash chicken sandwich.
Apparently, this counts as "proof of delivery."
And we've become completely used to documenting this way.
- Amazon shows us where the package landed.
- DoorDash proves the food arrived.
- FedEx tracks every stop along the way.
No one wonders, "Why are we measuring this?"
Because this documentation creates confidence and accountability.
What if we also measured:
โข Average days from application to lease-up.
โข Time to process a RFTA.
โข Landlord satisfaction.
โข Staff productivity and utilization of technology.
โข Cost per voucher issued.
โข Moves into opportunity zones.
Metrics aren't about creating more work. They're about proving the work matters.
If a chicken sandwich deserves a photo ... Surely changing someone's housing future deserves more.
