The Cost of Waiting
The most expensive thing was never a bold move. It was the times I waited.
Waited until I knew enough.
Waited until I understood the rules.
Waited until I had the perfect answer or plan.
Waited until someone else said, "You're ready."
This year, I was honored to be named one of the Yay, official matriarch status?!
I'm grateful for the recognition and even more grateful for the women I get to stand beside.
Women who have built companies, shaped housing policy, and strengthened communities.
Women who chose to speak up and make things happen.
Women who stopped waiting for permission.
They remind me that Audacity isn't about having all the answers.
It's about stepping forward before you have things figured out.
Acting on instincts before all the facts are in place.
It's about recognizing that your voice matters and having the courage to use it.
