Leadership in the Aisle

Them: “Oh, you travel for work? That must be fun.”
Reality: Hold my beer.

I board a 3.5-hour flight with one simple thought ... quiet time, chips and salsa, some inbox cleanup.

Before we even leave the gate … the chaos begins.
I’m internally chanting: dear travel angels, please make this madness stop.

The leadership parallel:
Professionalism isn’t always about KPIs, org charts, and strategy.
Sometimes it’s about awareness.
- Self-awareness.
- Situational awareness.
- Impact awareness.
- Proximity awareness.

The best leaders understand this instinctively, or find ways to learn this.

And for the love of all things holy …
Keep. Your. Shoes. On.
