Beyond Chocolates: Honoring the Cheerleaders in Our Workplace

Valentine's Day in the workplace is more than candy-covered treats - it can be about affirmation, kindness, and authenticity. Today, I’m reflecting on a moment that truly embodies that spirit.

As I walked off the π“πžππ± stage, having just shared my deeply personal story of housing insecurity, I was met by Tanya Dempsey - front row in a sold-out NYC audience - beaming with pride and saying, "You did it!"

She didn’t just show up - she showed out in so many ways:
✨ Her patience as I frantically texted for weeks leading up to this event
✨ Organizing a hype call with Jennifer Keogh to uplift me
✨ Encouraging me when self-doubt crept in

This kind of unwavering support is what makes our industry special.

Who has been your cheerleader in the workplace? Be sure to show some love and appreciation today!
