Sharing Light, Growing Leaders

A text thread this week was buzzing about podcast and webinar setups. Color temperatures, ring light angles, all the glamorous behind-the-scenes details. Then the chat shifted.

Someone dropped a photo of their Monstera plant enjoying some light. Then another shared theirs.

Having visited a locally owned plant store recently, I had learned:
๐ŸŒฟ Their split leaves arenโ€™t just pretty; theyโ€™re practical. The mature leaves at the top develop holes and slits that let light filter through.
๐ŸŒฟ That sunlight reaches the younger leaves at the base, giving them the chance to grow strong. Wow!
๐ŸŒฟ In nature, Monsteras often climb toward the canopy, so this ensures the whole plant thrives, not just the tallest leaves.

And thatโ€™s the ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ง๐๐š๐ซ๐ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ in its purest form:
๐Ÿ’กGreat leaders donโ€™t crowd the spotlight. They create space.
๐Ÿ’กThey make sure the next layer of growth has the light it needs to flourish.

Whether itโ€™s new ideas, fresh talent, or emerging leaders:

Yes, lighting matters for webinars.
But even more, it matters in how we lead.
