Evil Genius. Come to the Dark Side, We Have Cookies ... a little typecasting might be happening when your team picks the conference badges for you.

This week a sold out crowd of 900 hashtag#housers gathered at the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials symposium trying to decode what’s ahead.

There’s been some pacing. A few sighs. And hope.

Solutions and best practices do exist. But it requires capturing results that are more than metrics.

It requires telling the human story behind the work - something Sean Gilbert challenged us to do.

Numbers show progress.
Stories show impact.

And solving complicated housing systems occasionally requires a little evil genius energy … and maybe cookies. 🍪
