Accepting How to Brainstorm

The term "๐’„๐’๐’˜ ๐’‘๐’‚๐’•๐’•๐’Š๐’†๐’”" entered my lingo this week during a round table moderated by Chick-Fil-A marketing execs.

It was an exercise to think creatively and collaborate.

However, outside of amazing chicken sammies and the known cow billboards, our team had zero restaurant knowledge and aren't marketing gurus. Then add a dimension of being at the table with strangers who now had to draft a slogan ... ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿคช

Why does this matter?

๐Ÿ‘‰ How often are we intimidated by brainstorming?
๐Ÿ‘‰ Confused by collaborating?
๐Ÿ‘‰ Forced into a team setting?
๐Ÿ‘‰ Threatened by the unknown?
๐Ÿ‘‰ Silencing our inner creativity?

Does the prospect of embarking on a complex project provoke anxiety, or ignite excitement? Must we know the complete roadmap, or does intuition and resourcefulness have a loud voice?

Bottom line: ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐š๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐š๐œ๐ก to handling the intricacies of work speaks volume about ๐ฐ๐ก๐จ we are. So, is that approach in check?

And yes, our Herd and Cow Patty vocab made it to the final top three selected. ๐Ÿฎ

P.S. Have you seen individual resourcefulness and initiative take a back seat in your staff and org?
