Regina Stone Mitchell and I have known each other for nearly nine years. I was in DC, sitting in the audience, and watching her lead the MidAtlantic Regional NAHRO chapter; I knew I could learn from her.

Nothing like a random person, rushing to meet and exchanging ways to connect. The professional equivalent of speed dating, I suppose.

Over time, we have leveraged our collective strengths, worked together to overcome challenges, and supported each other's growth.

This bridge helps us connect our experience with our potential.

Imagine how powerful #FemaleLeadership could become if we all committed to having an ally. Last week, we presented and challenged the #WomenOfNAHRO to take this step, but this challenge goes beyond that room, that organization, and that moment. Let's amplify each other's voices and create change together.

Katie Goar started with Quadel in 2007 and began leading the company as president in 2015. She leads Quadel with a special focus on customer service and has shifted the company’s corporate culture, resulting in excellent client service. Katie brings decades of affordable housing experience, having held a mayor-appointed position in city government, a top-level management role within a public housing authority and provided portfolio oversight for 60,000 multifamily units before leading Quadel, a nationwide affordable housing consulting and training organization.
