Discernment Drives Decisions

I'm still talking and thinking about the WAHN event.
One. Week. Later.
And this moment is one of the many reasons why.

One of the biggest takeaways I’d want someone who wasn’t in the room to know?

Rashmi Airan was the keynote speaker who shared her story, her lessons, and the realities of navigating decisions, risk, and consequences.

On paper, titles describe her as:
Mother. Attorney. Entrepreneur. Accomplished leader.

But it's another title where she learned she had to lose her freedom to actually gain it.

Without giving away the plot twist, Rashmi challenged us to:
•  establish guardrails for clarity
•  recognize when something doesn’t feel right
•  question the stories we tell ourselves
•  ask: “Is this a choice I can own later?”

I took pages and pages of notes.

What resonated with me was:
• hearing another leader openly affirm the importance of discernment in decision-making
• the reminder that risk should rarely be rushed and often deserves more pause than pressure allows

Some people aren’t “book people.” I know … shocking.
But this is a must-read.

Add 𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘙𝘪𝘴𝘦 to your reading list if you want to level up your decision-making skills. You won’t be disappointed.
