Cooking with Coworkers
Yes, we do things a little differently at Quadel. We just held a virtual ππ¨π¨π€π’π§π ππ₯ππ¬π¬ for our remote staff as a holiday gathering. From Krakow, Poland a chef taught us how to make pierogis from scratch! Hereβs what I learned:
π How to correctly spell pierogi ... as Iβve typed that word more in one day than in my lifetime.
π‘Cooking with coworkers is relaxing and an ultimate team building experience; even though that wasnβt the original motivator.
π The chef was full of Polish pride as he shared family heritage moments, talked about community events to celebrate pierogis, and beamed with a joy for cooking. Note to self.
π Working with dough from scratch, a hodge podge of ingredients, and butter can produce a food so uniquely enjoyable. Almost even surprising.
π And that reminds me of our daily grind sometimes. Worth the work.
